| This thread deserves a reboot.
My feeling is that when the Machine Nation rises to take Leinster House, this would be the general shape of the Cabinet I think would be the strongest team to take Ireland forward in these tough and opportune times.
Taoiseach: Auditor #9
Tánaiste and Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources: EvotingMachine0197 Minister for Finance: Ard-Taoiseach Minister for Foreign Affairs: cookiemonster Minister for Education: Kate P Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment: Edo Minister for Transport and Marine: ibis Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government : cactus flower Minister for Agriculture: SeathrúnCeitinn Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs: riadach Minister for Defence: youngdan
Chief Whip: 905 Attorney General: Hermes
Any thoughts? |

Brandubh can be MoS at your Department indeed. Aragon would be an interesting choice for Health Minister, I think Pax would be a good MoS at my Department in Merrion St. |

| If I am subject to a whip by 905 then I will be holding my tongue frequently. I am going to make Ibis happy though by getting rid of all the armoured cars and trucks. A-T is going to be very happy because I am going to save him 80% by firing all but the rangers and intelligence. The naval part will be strenghtened and given to Ibis over at marine. He will need them when the EU collapses to chase away the fish stealers. The lads in Chad are on their own but if they need a 100000 pistols to defend themselves I will airdrop them in. 10 million were spent. I would set up local gun clubs and district armories and have a local defese forse. Can I have justice as well because we need a few Judge Roy Beans back there with the way things are going. |

| Free hundred weight bags of triple sward for all non-jackeens.
Two hundred yard of rylock barbed wire for all concerned walker haters.
Decriminalization of síbíns and deregulation of all liquor licences.
Hand threshing to be made compulsory for all citizens.
Plurality of immediate relative spouses to be encouraged.
Decoupling of Dublin from the rest of the island.
Cap reforms will include promotion of 'boinnéid'. |

Fine by me, melikes de-regulation. I think we can charge them special taxes to pay for your other schemes. - Quote :

By tax incentives? Do you think we could work it into the Married Tax Allowance? - Quote :

Ah now, you can't be doing that. I'm not getting a ferry to meet my country cousins! - Quote :

Well, the Government will need order, unity of purpose and collective responsibility. - Quote :

Righteo, we can sell them to make more money for the capital projects I have in mind. - Quote :

Nice, even more money to spend on capital projects and tax cuts. - Quote :

Justice, hmmm... perhaps we could have you at Defence for 2.5 years before re-shuffling you to Justice for the remaining 2.5 years of office. |

| em, hello!? ... some sort of Ambassador-ship perhaps?, heck any sort of extra salary would be good in the next year! Suss out Olympic-related contracts for you over here perhaps? That's assuming you don't take Bertie's bets and still need to make some extra spondoolicks in the next few years. I know some of the the Ascot redevelopment team moving over to the 2012 team. Won't let any wussy social democrat beliefs get in the way of a buck... |

Any thoughts? I think you've picked a great team there. Very apt. I'd like johnfás as my Junior Minister with responsibility for defending my ass as I have to tell all the schools I've promised new buildings to that they ain't getting them no more. |

| I think we need to start talking about financial considerations. How much is it worth to ye if I promise to not drag civil servants and ministers before the Court? I think the position of the AG merits a substantial pay rise. I'll accept secret tenders from all interested parties. A guy's gotta eat ya know. Not to mention the amount of cases I must currently inherit - wouldn't want the state to lose every last one of em now would we? Make sure to figure this into any tenders ye might want to submit. I wanna be rich enough to be invited to the next Bilderberg summit (shhhhhhh!!!). |

| I think Hermes that you have not grasped the true potential of being AG. This is not like a poster with your understanding of how things work. My advice to you is to economise and do your public service. What do you want, to become a billionaire head of BP and Goldman Sacks and go to the Bilderberg Meetings. Hey is that not what happened to Sutherland, well fancy that. |
