Sounds like they both agree that the recap will free up as much capital as bleeding a bag of turnips.

Why don't people consider that graduated income tax is the fairest way to tax. and much simpler than all these daft levies?

Yer man Delaney, the Magill editor is an awful character. He likes his own voice no matter where he can get it. A more educated version of Ian O'Doherty. Why do we have so many self righteous people on television?

Yeah, it means we can cut it by about 6% and still stay on target to meet the 0.7% of GDP ODA target set down at UN level. Recessions are good for some things!

Will it be very transparent though ? The banks need to be bypassed at this stage.

Man giving out rightly to Lenihan good and proper. He says he is someone who has done everything right and is given 25 euro a week to provide for each of his two children.
He is not a bit impressed with his government.

They have no answers to that man, trying to get by and raise two children on petty sums of money while they talk about capping the obscene rewards for the incompetents who led us here. No answers at all.
