That's how a lot of people got onto their roofs and survived. |

That's how a lot of people got onto their roofs and survived. Only the ones with an attic window presumably. Or a well located lump hammer. No sign of the wasp round these parts yet with a good wind up. | |

No sign of the wasp round these parts yet with a good wind up. Are you talking in code Evotingmachine0197? They broke through the roofs and climbed through, unless they were old and didn't have help. |

| That wind-up on P.ie was a classic. I got over 200 negative reputations for that and Dave was upset. It would take more than a lump hammer to break through a roof here, quickly anyway. They are not tile and skylights are rare. |

If it wasn't was wasp a hoax then ? I missed youngdan's windup. What was it? Do you remember when he got us all so upset here with a windup with cookie? Has youngdan disappeared under another snowdrift? |

| I'm not sure exactly what his wind up was it but it had something to do with the Anglo 10.
We borrowed 4 billion this week ??? |

| Yes, the National Treasury Management Agency had a big bond issue. |

| What's Alan Ahearne on ?? Do we need an emergency budget or not ?!
FF are fecked for all elections until people at mass stop saying they've ruined the country so they can lose nothing surely by putting an emergency budget together now.
I suppose they won't do it because they've already said that they wouldn't and now they don't want to be laughed at by Enda.... |

The neighbours weren't very helpful or what ? |

| Discrepancy between Garda and coroner reports and what the family believed happened to John Kelly ?
Nothing to do with the neighbours, really. |

| Ah, I turned it off after the economy... I just wanted to get my daily dose of gloom before I went to bed. Good for the soul you know. |

| It wasn't really that gloomy tonight though on d'economy. There was a bit of a sense of breathing space for the moment. George Lee looks constantly startled and worried these days.
I read in the Star that he worries about his 20 year old and for her future which he seems to think will be bleak everywhere. |

| Excellent result for FF, up 3 from the last poll. Where'd the poll thread go?

| Oh yea, absolutely, sure it would be a landslide if there were an election tomorrow. |

| The message seemed to be that no one will rescue us, and that we are heading for bankruptcy within a year if we dont slash everything to the bone. |

| That didn't seem to me to be the message. The message was you would be mad to live on the basis that someone will save you. I would think that is common sense whether you are a State or someone doing some ridiculous stunt. |
