Why are you perplexed Ard-Taoiseach, it is a well known children's story. It has been updated to include modern technology thats all. Did you prefer the old ending because we can have the pigs engage in economic warfare to keep the parallel going.
Your OP made sense, but the rest of the thread seemed to wander into the realm bizarre.
But the OP did not exist until about 6.30PM, hence all the waiting and stuff. Even though the thread was started before that.

I see that now , and I'll withdraw now from these matters extra-capital.

Where did you hear about this youngdan? This on the mainstream news in the states?
Is what they are saying technically possible? From the people who analysed twisty pipes for several days on end we now have a bigger puzzle to delve into - we may have the technology to create earthquakes - by bouncing a pulse of electrical energy off the atmosphere, causing the earth or the sea, on the other side of the pacific, to resonate just like in the bridge video. Now, you can entertain this thread or you may not but already the thread on p.ie is swarmed, in my view, by naysayers unwilling to even look at the physics behind even the theory about this. As a fan of Tesla who perhaps proposed this idea originally in the 1920s to the Americans as an idea for warfare, I'd like the thread to be open for discussion on this.
I got this from p.ie - it's creepy, especially the weird colours in the clouds in the sky in the Chinese home video, 10 minutes before the earthquake... I'd love to know what the chinese are saying on their Shanghai version of p.ie

Nothing much around the place about this just some brainfart by Sharon Stone, who, at 50, must be eating the oil of ulay by the bucketload, although there are a few crow's nests around her eyes unfortunately.

I wrote my little story on the 3 little pigs over 2 weeks ago and am sorry I didn't post it here rather than a blog. I told how the first attempt by the wolf produced the cyclone and the 2nd attempt produced the earthquake that got the pig. The video of the bridge is vital because if I were to say that the wind can cause a huge steel beam to bend back and forth till it breaks I would be called a loon. Every Civil Engineer on Earth is familiar with what happened to the Tacoma bridge. The Technology discussed in the HAARP thing is outside my field but I can follow the discussion. I do not know if it can cause earthquakes. I have no doubt that weather paterns can be affected though with it. At the time of the Moscow olympics the Soviets promised no rain because they were supposedly able to seed the clouds. This talk on HAARP has been arround for a long time and some people on the radio have sounded pretty credible but I don't have the knowledge to say one way or the other. There has been plenty of talk about how the Russians have developed superweapons. These are called Scaler Weapons or Scaler Technology.

That Fulford guy is one of the strangest that I know of. He believes what would truely be a fantastic story about chinese secret societies. Most would discount him and some would say he is spewing crazy stuff to muddy the waters. He was a reporter with Forbes but more importantly he was able to get an interview with David Rockefeller. Why would someone as powerfull as he give an interview with a crazy guy. Something is fishy but who knows http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8029383467412255308&q=fulford+david+rockefeller&ei=nOdBSP7KHY74rAKnpdCeCQ&hl=en

Here is some more on Haarp. It is taken from the Science Channel and public TV mostly. Seems like they caused plenty of atmospheric warming up there. How come the global warming people are not asking questions about this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPusHeDlBxQ&feature=related

Sometimes I wonder where people find these "experts" that say that certain technologies are impossible.

It is a pity that with the big numbers on the haarp thread over yonder there were none with an opinion on the video clips. A physics degree or electical engineer would have an idea. I saw 18 people viewing that thread at one stage which is very high. Cactus. David Rockefeller is one of the most powerfull persons on Earth. He does not do interviews but yet this nutjob gets a 2 hour interview. Figure it out yourself.

I'm glad we agree about the nutjob part Conspiracy theorising based on speculative narratives (aka as fairy stories) does the head in and is very bad for politics. People need to get a grip on reality and study it in a scientifically based rational way more than ever. The fact that the oligarchy - ruling elite has its own self interest at heart, and that states develop horrific weapons, is hardly a novel idea. Spinning tales based on the idea of wicked individuals instead of grappling with what is wrong with society and how to fix it is a good way of keeping the masses quiet - bread (although less of that) and circuses. These stories are a circus to distract the hapless masses. We need to keep it real.
