| There seems to me to be 2 misconceptions. Firstly the cost has no bearing whatsoever. The Fed will gladly print whatever sum is needed. For as long as the markets gives value to the dollar this can continue. Secondly the democrats have no intention of ending the war because they could have ended it after the 2006 election when they became the majority in the House and Senate. Only recently Hillary voted authorisation for an Iran attack and the spineless Obama dodged the vote altogether which shows his leadership abilities. Listen and watch this witch cackle as the dying continues LINK |

That kind of emphasises the point Jenkins was making in the article I just quoted does it not YD? Does Americans want a politican to tell them a degree of truth about where they are going - or do they prefer a politician that will pander to their preferred wishes and idealised "reality" Ok - silly question - pols will do whatever it takes to get in - but do you think Americans are really up for reality or a Reagan who will tell them they are brilliant and not to worry etc etc? |

| If one wanted a good gamble now this is what one would do. He would walk into a betting shop and put 1000 euros on Hillary Clinton to be the next presedent at 440/1 |

Hilary Clinton, and Obama's military/security appointments were announced today. It's great to see her get a key job in the new administration as Secretary of State. She has the determination, energy, contacts and mandate to go do some really important and valuable work on the world stage. She is an excellent choice and it's a good platform for Clinton's skills now that the Presidency has been denied to her. |

| In the early debates it was very obvious that Hilary Clinton was much better informed on most subjects than Obama. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. |

| We have had 3 lesbians as secretary of state and thankfully now Hillary is here to add some balls to the proceedings. She will not be pushed arround and her big supporter James Carville had the best line of the entire campaign when he said on national TV. "If Barack Obama was given one of Hillary's testicles they would both have two"
