A Gallup Poll has found that 71% of people in the US disapprove of George Bush conduct as President. Other presidents (Nixon) have had lower rates of approval, but none in the history of the United States have had a higher rate of disapproval.

The legitimacy of Bush's government again comes in to question with emerging evidence of possible illegal activity to damage the campaigns of Democrats. Karl Rove will be required to give evidence in relation to sacking of District Attorneys who refused to prosecute Democrats.

Karl Rove Link

Outside the States we have tended to focus on the invasion of Iraq as the benchmark for Bush's performance. Should we pay more attention to the damage he has done to the credibility of democratic government inside the United States?

The Bushs need Hillary to get the White House. An Obama win could lead to questions. Hillary has been rescued by Rush Limbaugh and now Bill O Reilly. 2 gasbags that built their careers telling the dolts about the evil Clintons. The lesser known local talkmeisters are playing the same switcheroo.

If Hillary was selected, do you think they would they turn against her and support McCain?

Yes, then they could revert to their usual spiel to keep their audience happy. The danger would be passed and we would see the change in actual policies like we saw when Bush took over from Clinton and that is zero change no matter which of them were elected. If the Pastor and Farrakan actually have any sway over Obama's thinking then we would have fun indeed.

I take that as disagreement but must assume that you believe that Clinton would be any different than Bush. Her vote on the Iran resolution should have dispeled that if the Iraqi votes have not already done so. She and McCain both want to nuke them. Surely you don't believe Limbaugh and O Reilly.
