Zimbabwe - MDC to Join Unity Government

Apparantly Tsvangirai's party has voted to go into power with Mugabe's ZANU-PF. Mugabe's people still retain control of the military and police.

The job of the MDC now appears to be sorting iout the country's many problems, such as hyper-inflation and the cholera epidemic. Sorting out Mugabe himself will have to take a back seat.

The best of luck to him, and everyone there. There was someone on the news this morning saying they have to cut food aid to less than daily needs, as the numbers needing it have gone up from 5-7 million.

Hopefully they will be able to turn their agriculture around. A lot of problems with soil depletions as I remember.
