| For those who can, John Kilraine and Charlie Bird are on television with Bryan Dobson at this minute (if there was decent broadband maybe more people could see it on rte website ). There's some talk or Ahern's achievements coming into focus now ... hmm Charlie Bird believes a lot of people in Fianna Fail pushed him - will the FF organisation be watching their receipts and lack of, more closely from now on?

| I think everyone was hoping he'd clear up that other matter of the tribunerals; we could do with a laugh. Of course, these two matters may not be unconnected or at least that's how some will paint it. |

| Any guesses as to when? Hopefully sooner rather than later but he could say after local elections 2009?
He owes it to any local FFers who still deserve their votes after this latest GUBU mess.

| Padraig Pearse was killed on 3rd May, James Connolly on 12th ..
and what's the reason for him going if not the Tribunal? The media hounding?
(Plunkett also died on 12th May - that's Roy J. - inventor of teflon) |

It entitles EVM to chocolate cake. I really didn't think he'd go until after Lisbon. But, in typical Bertie style, he's done it his own way. I will await instructions, EVM. News at One interesting. A bit disappointed with JG though. Enda Kenny looking for a general election. Daft, I think. |

| Yes, I went for after the referendum, too. There's just no predicting the man. |

| I'm not sure that there's much merit in hanging around for a month. Will there be a leadership contest? There's a thread beyond about Mary Hannafin going for the job. Or will Brian Cowen step into de Bert's shoes? |
