Machine Nation 50,000th post

Citizens of Machine Nation,

While you were all watching that number on the portal gradually climb towards 50,000, something slightly different was happening in the post database.

As the database stands, there are approximately 50280 entries.

We have had approximately 600 post deletions since the start, which is why the portal number is lower.

The official 50,000th post is that post whose post_id value in the database is 50,000.

Why is there no first, second or third post?

Lots of posts get deleted over the years. The post_id entry in the database table does not get reused.
