Having brought a load of work home with me, Murphy's law will dictate; no snow tomorrow morning?? Certainly nothing beyond a few flurries.

What snow ?

I left work in Clonshaugh at 1720 and it was pelting snow. The road outside Northside SC was like a skating rink. Once I crossed the Malahide road it was like a different country. Not a flake. Seaside stuff.

I understand you perfectly EVM, what I'm more concerned about is the possibility that this lovely snow could be washed away.

How much would it cost to DHL 40 tonnes of snow to NE Dublin. My youngest has never even seen a proper snowman.

I'm considering driving to where the feckin snow is.

You'll pay for it At right ?

We have lots of snow. Perhaps(hopefully) you are a geo-climactic oddity.

All we have is frost down in the SW. We NEVER get snow here. Blast. Secretly hoping we'd all be snowed in for a day or two, with mugs of cocoa and roaring fires etc. It's not going to happen is it?

Indeed, I'd love a few snow days, it'd be a bit of fun.

How about booking out the phoenix park for Machine Nation Ski 2009. I know it's flat and all , but we can go drinking after flummoxing around in MN Skis for 4 hours ( 5 minutes). And go to the pub and talk about flat pistes ?

There must be some shnow inland near the Airport - Airports attract snow - you always see airports on the news when there's snow.

Or maybe there's snow in Blanchardstown - it would save you driving over the Liffey.

Are there any mountains up your way? Drogheda or somewhere ??

I was thinking of College Park in Trinity. We will have enough space for fun and frolicking(with some slopes for sleds) and the Pav is but a short walk from there. We can have apres ski there!
