"Alto Vetro" - is that anything at all to do with U2?

It seems to be 2011th. (must be the other 11 secret posts we had to delete there one day, the er, dodgy ones...)

Nothing whatsoever. It's a residential project being managed and completed by Treasury Holdings. It's topped out and they're down to fitting it out. We'll be seeing the sales launch this side of Summer, imo. The U2 Tower is also a residential development but it'll be next decade before it's as advanced as Alto Vetro. Montevetro will be starting soon and that'll be more commercial in usage.

There was a surge of posters logging in at the time. I was lucky to hit the right moment to post. I might make a celebratory cup of tea. I'd like to thank the Academy, yourself, EvotingMachine0197, the Dark Lord himself, my 667 agents and lawyers and my dog for making all this possible. Sad

From what I can see in the picture Alto Vetro is stunningly ugly - like a cross between a Japanese multistorey teahouse, one of those long Chinese lantern things and something from the 'after' scenes in a 1970s disaster movie which would have been called Attack of the Killer Cyclones.

Will it ever look finished?

Here's a pic of it from the roadside:

It looks better in reality than on the renders.

FAmiliar style ... it's good to see it will match the rest of the skyscraper on Dublin's skyline.

It's rather slender and that is what makes it stand out amongst all the new stuff along the docks. Most of the stuff down there is rather dumpy and fat and low-rise. The slenderness of Alto Vetro is a much-needed antidote. Montevetro is of similar height but of greater girth.

And if not, which of us (Auditor or I) is closer to the correct part of the country?
