I'll get on to him and see does he want to - he is a good friend of mine, as is Fergalr. Disibod was rather busy for the last year but he might have a little more time for the finer things in life now.

It was certainly an eye opening adventure. I would like to get back at some stage before too long - most interesting continent I have ever visited. My parents are down in South Africa at the moment but I have a much greater interest in East and Central Africa. My grandfather was at the inauguration of Nkrumah in Ghana as a guest so Ghana is somewhere else that I would like to take a look into when I get the chance.

I've a huge interest in the place really because of a huge number of deep but varied connections. For instance I have a good friend who was run out of Zimbabwe at gunpoint (daughter of a white farmer) and equally I know very well someone whose father was a Christian minister and had his head severed in front of him as a child during a tribal conflict.
