| I've been keeping an eye out and finally saw my first one today featuring An Taoiseach's mug and a caption telling us to vote yes. It was on the roundabout at Tesco in Tullamore. But I have seen none in recent days anywhere else in Tullamore, Portlaoise, Naas - 3 county towns and only one poster.
Has anyone else managed to catch a glimpse of this rare species - as presented by the most pro-Europe party in the country?

| Now that you ask, I don't really know. I'll keep a sharp eye out and report back. | |

| I travelled last night from Kells to Dublin, through Navan and Dunshaughlin, and I was fairly surprised by how few FF posters are up. A huge amount of Libertas posters have sprung up in Meath in the last week. Labour also have a fair few up. |

| I don't think I've seen one, but its hard to tell: they all look like something else.
I spotted an enormous Libertas poster designed to look as though it was peeling off to reveal a lot of cash. What can that mean? |

| I've only noticed No posters from Sinn Fein down here. Some Yes ones around Ennis but I'm sorry I haven't been looking around much somehow... I'm sure I've seen FF Yes ones though... I'll keep my beady eyes out from now on |

| Well, maybe it is a Dublin thing, but I've seen about 100 of them in the past 2 weeks up around my regions.
Leas na hEorpa, Leas na hEireann/Good for Ireland, Good for Europe posters are up right along many of the main roads in my region. |

| I really don't think I've seen any Taoiseach ones in Dublin though. | |

Nope, perhaps they aren't as applicable since an Taoiseach isn't from the capital. |

| We have the comedy and tragedy that are Máiréad McGuinness and Avril Doyle - one smiling cheerfully from one pole and the other on the other side of the street glaring the orphanage owner in Annie.
There are umpteen Sinn Féin (faceless, in this part of the country at least).
But only one FF. It could be that it was an adapted version of one of the myriad Every Piddling Business Owner in Offaly Welcomes Taoiseach Brian Cowen posters but it's the only FF one I've seen at all. Was in Naas last night and not one there.
I thought that the role of the culchee Taoiseach was to someway bridge the urban-rural divide. Sometimes I have to wonder if they really actually do want us to vote yes. |

The labour ones are bloody awful. Yeah, you can't make them out easily. I haven't seen any SF ones, though I've seen the big Libertas billboards, sans puppies. |

Is there any suburb in Dublin beginning with an O. There must be. No, suburbs end in an O in the capital. Phibsboro, Pimlico, Marino, Rialto and so on. Etymologists believe it responsible for the practice in the capital of modifying people's names so that they all end in o; Anto, Dricco, Steo, Mondo for examples. |

| And Decko. Don't forget Shaymo. And Liamo of course.
But is there no suburb beginning with O. I'm flabbergastted if there isn't.

Oh no, how could I? - Quote :

The closes(on the alphabet) would be somewhere like Phibsboro. The closest(in terms of places) I can think of would be the Old Bawn Road in Tallaght. Other than that, I can't think of anything. |

The labour ones are bloody awful. The Shinner ones here have this annoying votáil níl written on their back. 'Vote there isn't'. |

| Yeah, that bugged me too - there should at least be inverted commas around the 'níl' for the sake of clarity. |

| I saw a Clare Daly (Dublin North SP) poster this morning. Said something like "Privatisation of Health, Privatision of Education ? Vote No."
Surely this represents a considerable misinformation about the treaty?

Surely this represents a considerable misinformation about the treaty? There is something about that on the SP website I think. |

| Nice job Audi. Never heard of these 'People's Movement' characters. Their name sounds a bit biological. | |

| Actually, A lesser Spotted Libertas Poster would be worthy of another thread since I haven't seen any around where I live. Their campaign seems limited to big billboards around Dublin. |
