This looks like a right juicy blog about all sorts of tech shennanigans that ibis stumbled upon while looking for statistics on the safety of nuclear reactors. Speaking of stumbling, the blog says that more people are killed stumbling from roofs while installing solar panels than have gone to Allah because of nuclear accidents. Shocking but there's still an element of apples and oranges in there though I think

There's also a link in there to "Nation Master" which looks very impressive with all the stats they are producing but I know that Ireland has a lot more wind energy potential installed than 338 MW they are claiming so looking at Germany being 16Gw is really 22Gw and Spain is wrong too. P. O'Neill's personal blog is here. I've also noticed him on Fistful and on Irish Election, but his funniest stuff is reserved for his own page. He's been blogging away for years so there is a massive back catalogue to get lost in if you have a few hours to kill.
