That's a good tune.
I know the one's I posted are not waltzes just songs with a slow tempo. Truth is I detest the soporific waltz. May have been fine back in its day, but strikes me it was then the equivalent of this sort of thing.

The beats of a waltz are unbalanced or odd numbers - 3/4 time as opposed to 4/4 time and variations. What does this mean? 4/4 time has even emphasis on either beat - or on either foot - so you may march to it like a soldier, however fast or slow that may be. A waltz cannot be marched to because there is uneven stress on one side - oom pah pah .
- you can imagine possibly marching to this and your foot is tapping evenly to it - oom oom oom oom ... but if you listen again to David Gray above your foot is going oom pah pah... 3/4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfcWzvin3KM
You can imagine marching or trotting along to the 4/4 time - a march is 2/4 time so it's slower but still even - footed; with a waltz there is one stress on one foot and two stresses on the other foot so if you were to march or walk to that you'd be going around in a circle which you are when you do a waltz, kinda.
So if you can march to it it's not a waltz, if you can't march to it it could be a waltz. It could also be Paranoid Android
