The lakes are Lough Leane (Loch Léin - Lake of Learning), Muckross Lake and the Upper Lake. (I whipped that from wikipedia Embarassed )

Nope! The image in the photo is of a lake - it looks like a bay alright though. They have names for these places but I never remember - Muckross house is down there. I was freezing my arsh off up there - there were icicles up there What a Face

When I was about eight I was hurdling the hedges at Muckross as you do . I jumped one on the blind and plummeted about what seemed like eight foot to the ground. Ended up head over shite and chastened for the rest of the day.

Went swimmin in the lake about 6 years ago. Rocks cut the feet off ye on the way in and out.

Was frequenting public houses in its environs 3 weeks ago
