Shouldn't it be up to you to judge but I'd say Machine Nation/Science Engineering Technology Computers. If your thread concerns the internet but is mostly about culture then put it in culture or if the content is mostly political then put it in politics but I'd suggest you put it in the Tech forum and append a tag to your thread title indicating the slant whether political, cultural or other (if you want).

If your thread content strongly features a piece of technology or a system of such and will continue to feature that piece of tech as the thread progresses then it will be easier to locate afterwards if it is put in the tech forum.

If you expect the thread to slide away from the piece of tech then put it in the other forums according to its content, political or otherwise.

The Surveillance thread is extremely political, legal and philosophical but it is in the right place because there will be continued reference to tech and systems as the thread progresses.

Its a while since this thread has had an airing, and we've quite a few members whose brains it would be good to pick for ideas for new content and any other Site Development.

Any suggestions for changing this place?

Is a 'threads you posted on' tick on latest discussions page possible? I'm an old man of 32 now and get easily confused and bewildered...

That's one for EVM and Audi to answer. There used to be a different colour on ones we've posted on. The search box is good if you can remember even one word from a thread title. A bit fiddly but you could go via your profile for "last posts" by yourself, I think.

I never get the results I want from the search box... tend to go through the latter route - the list of my previous posts.

I find it pretty good - best only to put in one key word.

Perhaps we need to get the official consolidated version of the Treaty of Lisbon linked to the Portal? and the Charter of Rights, if that is separate.

I'm not sure I know what you mean exactly but if you try clicking 'Home' and then scrolling down a bit to the top of the forums you'll get three options

Maybe it's the 'View your posts' view that you are looking for ? If you try clicking on that and it's the one you want then sure I think I can put that on the Latest Discussions Bar.

The search function is crap alright. Have you tried putting text you might be looking for in quotes "" ? It might not work and I still think it's crap anyway - it even misses thread names with something you've selected. We'll have to get something sorted out soon.

I intend to put the Lisbon resources back up there on a clickable link to a new page of stuff like the 'News Junkie' button I added recently. Zhou requested this about a month ago and I still haven't obliged. Maybe I'll do it later as I'm watching Michael Moore spout sh*te from his youtube account mmflint. Maybe we can take suggestions as to how to organise it - I was building up a good chunk of multimedia propaganda and reading material on it last time and most of the best stuff turned out to be from the No crowd.

I also want to put the euireland site on the politics panel on the left.

I like it... we should do something about the top though - specifically the bar where you click latest discussion etc. I have photoshop if anyone has ideas and wants me to do something. I would need to know the height and width.

But...but...Audi is not even logged in.

It has happened before - its a bit like being in an earthquake.

I've looked at another forumakers forum and its rock steady.

Normality has been restored. We do have alot more going on in our portal and that than alot of other forums though.

Normality was short lived.

Audi has not been here since 8:04. What time did the thing happen ?
