Categories contain forums which contain threads.

Currently we have categories containing forums (containing threads and forums(containing threads)) +threads. i.e. some of our forums can't be seen from the home page because they are buried in upper forums.

Not really, just some moving threads about. You can see the difference between vibes and scribes and gaeilge for instance.

The shoutcast music link hasn't been functioning for some time. Perhaps we could get rid of it and put back the calendar, which for those of us who spend too much time here is a useful item to remind one of the passing of the days.

How much did you like the last skin cactus? I didn't like it at all but went along with you all for the sake of it. It really broke my heart to have to get up and look at it first thing in the morning at seven and last thing at night around two. I couldn't bear to post more than 25 per day because of it. I was hoping for a skin (c)rash every day for the past 107 days. I think I'll be posting a lot more now.

Well done to EvotingMachine there - I did nothing in case ye were wondering.

Kate there is a button when you click Home called 'view posts since your last visit' and that's the same as the coloured thing with the answered posts you miss.

I like this overall - I feel there are more buttons to push and all - it's very nice.

(I spose a bit of redecorating of the portal is next then? Is that my job?)

What about a water wheel instead of the one on the homepage? They tie in nicely with all the environmental stuff we do here, and they were used in industry and they're prettier, and there's a sense of constant movement and productivity that's rather comforting. A moving one would be fantastic.

The photos on the right are a bit weird but it's the same on p.ie so it won't be hard to get used to it. We should however impose a ban on all people except Johnfás changing their avatars.
