Two humanist songs from Kabylie. Do tell me if I publish too much.
This first is from Idir, whom I consider my master for the discretion of emotions in voice. He uses the metaphor of rain to refer very touchingly to recent slaughters in Algeria.
The second is from younger Ali Amran. It's in Berber and says roughly "Oh Uncle Sliman, everything is going wrong now, it's everybody for himself".
