| Would you / did you get naked for art ? Over 1,000 Cork people did this morning in the freezing cold. Spencer Tunick is still looking for naked people for a Dublin work of art. Would you, or would not, take part and why. Personally I would love to, but it could damage my professional credibility beyond repair. How sad is that? |

| NO. And I don't think this is art. | |

It would distract from my dazzling intellect and expertise |

| If you dyed your hair blonde then people mightn't recognise you.
As having an intellect. |

Yes well Audi, clothes and not taking part would do just as well. Surely one of our southern posters must have been among the valiant 1,100 ? What was it like ? |

| Sadly I haven't been lovingly sculpted by Michelangelo but despite the likely offence I'd be likely to present to the general public, I would consider it. The only thing that would bother me is meeting someone I knew at the shoot - I know that sounds rather cowardly. As I was listening to the reports this morning, I thought it would be great to go abroad and do it somewhere else. Ireland is a small country; being seen in the photo would bother me far less than meeting my neighbour or old school colleague in the nip.
I disagree with EVM though; I do think this is art. The human body is rather beautiful and using many bodies to create a living, breathing artwork is just a modern interpretation of the old-fashioned nude portrait/painting. |

| We have a user called Art, should we, too, get naked for him? |

How in the name of Zod can you call that modesty Dan? The guy has no freakin' clothes on. And he let someone take his photo. And then he let them put it on the Interwoogie. Holy Schmoly. | |

| Everything is relative EVM. When you were in college did you not engage in that fun activity of mooning. Had u-tube existed I would have ended up in Hollywood. |

| I though you said Moo-ing there for a second. I don't think I ever mooned, but then I was probably too hammered back then to remember. | |

| This one ties the modern and the not-so-modern quite well. |

Ah it was a thing we did now and again because we thought we were hippies - lying around balls naked of an afternoon with a rake of your friends with some high art nearby usually the work of some important philosopher / writer or the Oxford Anthology of English Literature and a load of rumbling tummies. The grant wasn't great in them days, one had to sell one's clothes in order to buy books - you don't know how lucky you are, young man. |
