Some positive news amid the doom and gloom post-Lisbon, Dublin's quality of life rating improves two placings, it seems that our capital, the Fair City, has moved from 27th best city in the world to 25th. A very good news story for Dublin and for Ireland and we can build on these improvements to make Dublin the place to be in Europe.

Greutzi, Ard. Thanks for that. Interesting reading. Nice to see Züri retain its title. Lots of football tourists in town today. Italy v France tonight. It will be irrelevant if the Dutch B team lose to Romania. But there is a great atmosphere along the Limmat these days.

Have they sorted out their water supply yet or are they still thinking of piping it in from the Wesht? Because that's called exporting the problem.

I don't know, there haven't been any intimations in that direction lately. I think Poulaphouca is about enough for the moment.
