After seeing the upsetting puppy throwing video I think we need a happy thread, after all we do have a relaxing thread.

Anyway I think some happy music is worthy of an opening post but feel free to post up anything that makes you happy!

I'm all about the colour recently, last friday I bought an "electric blue" jumper (not quite cookiemonster blue) and got to flirt with the very attractive sales assistant who said I had great taste.

And of course the uber cool Christopher Walken in the video for weapon of choice is worth a look.

Apparently Walken enjoyed doing the video so much he refused to take payment for it.

Do I want to see this?

I prefer spending time with my dogs than other human beings.

No you don't want to see it. I like dogs a lot too, particularly dogs that are very domesticated and have taken on a lot of human behaviour. I am still in mourning for my dog of 12 years who died two months ago. People can't really replace a good dog.

There is a dog is a house I walk by on my way home from work. I see him almost every day and I'm full sure he is the best dog in the world. He is some sort of mongrel and I can't tell what types of dog are there. But he's very cute, it's big without being huge and he's got the nicest temprement I've seen in a dog in a while.

I am very tempted to steal him.

A dog might be nice for you Cookiemonster. Are you allowed to have one where you live? Cats can be good too and once they have learned to use a cat flap they aren't much trouble.

That looks like half a cat wearing a prosthetic.

I've got 2 dogs, very happy fellows they are too. Both 5 months old.

Nope. One is from Limerick and the other from Wexford. About 2 weeks between them. They get on very well though...so far.

The prosthetic being a fridge magnet to help him stand up in the kitchen.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Brilliant riadach.

Which means you could also attach him to a shopping trolley. But I can't think why..

This thread is getting less happy for pets. Even as a woman I find that implement sinister Riadach. Happy it up there. Surprised

'm having the most wonderful day. Almost no work - for the first time in ages, out in the garden, seeing nice people, baking great cake, popping in and out from this place - mucky fingernails and all, Wexford strawberries and a gift of two oak trees from twin boys I've been teaching all year - grown themselves from acorns in their garden.

And now Guns 'n' roses are singing Paradise City on Today FM's 80s show and life can't get much better.

Ahhh.

I lived surrounded by acres and acres or lush green fields, bulging deep green forest, dark bubbling rivers all under a bright verdigris, yes, there is room for a few dogs.

And as for cats. I'm not their biggest fan. I don't hate them but I don't love them like I love dogs. That and I can't really play with cats because I'm highly allergic to them. (That said we have 5, 1 pet and 4 strays).
