Is Eddie O'Sullivan finished - and if he is how much will it cost to buy him out of the contract he secured before the World Cup - and who will replace him?

Before the Wales game there was a lot of talk about their history. Apparently at the meeting where he lost the job, Gatland thought he was going to get a renewed contract. It seemed to be pretty out of the blue for him

Husband has been threatening for a while that Eddie was on the way out but it's not that long since he was the darling of Irish sport, not just rugby. The first real unease that I'm aware of was created around getting the contract renewed before the world cup, which may have gotten people's backs up even before we bombed out there.

Eddie is in the driving seat isn't he. He can stick them for the full balance of contract price if he insists, and the RFU want him out.

IRFU screwed up by renewing just before WC. Completely thick.
