How the hell do you post a link,I am sure, like a lot of things it is simple when you know how, trouble I have is neither I nor the assorted geniuses I have asked know how! tried to post a link to Party manifestos some time back and both me and this damm computation machine are not over it yet. anyone want to help? am going off line now will check in again tomorrow, and tomorrow and, please God, tomorrow.

Its all right eamo. The first link i posted a couple of months ago on P.ie was so long it stretched the thread from here to Sherkin Island and I was soundly thrashed by many irate posters. We won't let that happen to you. I would offer to help, but Auditor or Machine would explain much better. If you look at Machine's thread the instructions might be there already I think.

Reply to this post and press one of the buttons which looks like a green monitor - that hosts images from your pc. The chainlink sticks the text over the link for you if you want a neat link. You think you're bad - I encouraged youngdan to insert links and he picked it up after a short while but it took him a bit of practice. Now we are trying to get him to put paragraphs in his text - he's gas! He only discovered the Enter key last week ! Everyone has their own limits. Now youngdan is blogging away on the other site..

The equivalent is probably me discovering something obvious about how we do amendments to the constitution or something

Pressing that will change how you can view your own link with and without the html tags around it. It shows two modes and it is either pink or blue - pink for gir

That has to be the cutest cat video in the world. I don't really know what you mean cactus? Your own video is it? If that's what you mean then I'd have to test it first but at a guess I'd say you can't upload your own video here. You could open an account on youtube - maybe a machinenation one - and upload your videos there and then link to that. Others could use it too...

I assume you know how to embed a youtube video - simply copy the embed code next to the video and paste it into your post. Try playing around with the last button to the right when in Post Reply or Edit mode - the one with the two capital As - the mode where you can see the code is actually better - I think the other mode is buggy.

Some free online dictionaries and grammars. There is one on-line free translation service but I haven't tried it yet.
