I've hundreds, johnfás but my favourites are - in no particular order.
The Kitchen Diaries by Nigel Slater - it's a gorgeous diary of a year. The food is real and tasty and seasonal. It probably is my favourite.
How to be a Domestic Goddess by Nigella - you just want to bake everything in it.
Full and Plenty by Maura Laverty - an old fashioned cookbook
and The Book of Old Tarts - I can't remember who wrote it but it gives recipes for tarts of all kinds going back to the 1600s.
I've also got a book of recipes that I've been adding to over the years for myself and it's tatty and lovely and full of the best food - like a friend's amazing chicken soup, or swedish hate sauce or my mother's drop scones that I just can't reproduce.
