| I had a bizarre experience yesterday, sitting in a courtroom while a thunderstorm rattled the building and the judge and Garda inspector rattled a few criminals. It's fairly clear that rumours of our Indian summer have been greatly exaggerated. Unless climate change has shifted it to after the midterm break in October instead of after the kiddies go back to school in September. |

Right. I might try that. I guess you squirt a bit of lemon in and stir the egg into it so it cooks in the hot soup ? In this case, the chicken comes first. |

| Old as the hills I know but: A chicken and an egg are lying in bed. The chicken is smoking a cigarette with a satisfied smile on its face and the egg is frowning and looking a bit pissed off. The egg mutters, to no-one in particular, "Well, I guess we answered THAT question!" |

| i'm looking out the window of my office this lovely september morning. the rain is beating a tattoo against the pane, the wind is rattling the window frames and its so dark outside it resembles a november or december afternoon. and...apparantly, there's worse weather on the way this afternoon. WTF???????? I think we need to do some talking with the sun and tell him i didn't like the way he got things done, sleepin on the job, oh raindrops keep on fallin'..... someone posting on p.ie that the sun had its first clear (no sunspots etc) period for a long time. any link between that and the crappy weather? |
