It seems to be very quiet on both boards tonight. Are people at home soul searching or gone to the pub to get hammered ?

Pub.
Mourning the death of the Messiah (if you're in Drumcondra).
Celebrating the end of a crook (elsewhere).

People are celebrating I'd say - digout started to mistype around the one o'clock news and there was no sign of him after that. Himself and droghedasouth are under a table now somewhere.
Yeah it seems to be quiet here there and everywhere...

Everybody is dragged away to watch Chief Yellow Jacket on the tv. We must now look to the future. The famous line of yore springs to mind. Uneasy lies the Throne upon which The Magic Arse sits.

Also, much of the action recently has consisted of shouting for Bertie to resign, bashing the Greens for not making him resign...and so on. Hardly surprising it's got a bit quiet now he's said he is resigning.

When the High King dies, the little children and the dogs hide under the Eating Board. Who knows what will happen now? Will there ever be a new High King (Queen)? Will the sun rise tomorrow? Perhaps the answer lies in the bottom of this beer glass...

All the teachers have gone back to school and haven't as much time for dawdling around here I think.
P.ie was quiet enough yesterday too - at least when I had time to have a peek at what was going on there. None of the rabid dissection of the day's events that I had expected in light of the rabid demand for yesterday's announcement. Strange.
