Well that hasn't been my experience. Its probably too subtle for my bogger palette. I don't drink enough of it to form an overall impression, but it has been relatively fine whenever I have had it. |

Assam, minus the sugar and milk is a favourite of mine. |

Available in Ard Bia in Galway or the Parlour in Athenry. I don't know where else. But those two cafes are top notch. Ard Bia ? Is that an arcade or mall somewhere in the Galway town ? |

In typical Irish style I will start by giving you directions to where it is not... It used to be a charming cafe above Neachtain's pub on Quay Street. Legendary pub btw. I've heard it has now moved to the old stone building (that also houses Nimmo's restaurant) behind the Spanish Arch. I haven't been in that one.

| I once heard Gay Byrne say that he never drink tea after 2pm otherwise he wouldnt get a good nights sleep. I drink about 6 mugs of tea a day with lots of milk and have no problem sleeping.
An indian friend made me tea once, he boiled a mixture of milk and water in a pot and then added the tea, it was very nice and completely different. |

| Well I went out and bought some mint tea (well, mint infusion) and Jaysus I'm hooked on the stuff. Good thing it has no caffeine or I'd be I heard Twinings to multi-packs of nice teas; I'm going to go searching for one tomorrow. |

| I have a box of Twinings Peppermint and a box of Camomile up in Donegal waiting for infusion this weekend. That and a rake of pints in Weir's on Saturday and I'll be well chilled out come Monday |

If you find a Moroccan type restaurant and ask for authentic mint tea made with a mixture of nana and fresh mint ... gorgeous That photo looks like it has the right amount of dirt in it too. I'm telling you - hot water, sugar, mint and nana .. you'll be jumping round the garden |
