Has anyone been to Istanbul? Most likely heading there in May - should be very interesting for me as I studied the Crusades in history at College and I studied Classical Studies for my Leaving Cert.

Yes, had my 16th birthday there. Back later to post some suggestions.

We'll be staying at the Hyatt Regency which is near Taksim Square. Is that a good starting point from which to explore?
