and for everybody else.
Bertie and John Bruton are picking up hefty pensions even though they are still working. Thats not to mention all the other polictians who are picking up pensions for stints as Ministers. Can anyone explain the rationale behind this and how it serves the interests of the state?

As a pensioner is no longer productive I propose that we place a ceiling on the maximum amount of state money that can be paid to a pensioner at 20.000 and that the state can only pay out a pension after 65 years of age. Saying that free health care and free transportation for all should remain.
