| This is the first year in which a Machine Nation Politician of the Year will be selected.
Vote here for the best politician of the year - the poll will run for 14 days from today.
One vote per person only. The shortlist consists of all politicians receiving more than one nomination.
A separate thread and poll is running for Worst Politician of the Year. |

| They should all get at least two each, based on the nominations. |

That's it so, Bertie has won. Anything that happens from here on in is manipulation by sinister forces. |

Between this and your earlier "in favour of a lot of pain" reference, is there something you're trying to tell us? |

Is Mr. Sargent represented at all or anyone from Macra na Feirme ? Bah, tonys is just planting the seeds of doubt. Now, what will I do with my remaining votes ... | |

Apparently he has been checking out Bertie's political moving and shaking from his back window [of his big house] for years. If he can ascend to the head of his party as Bertie did then the seal of office backons. |

| I made a mistake in my voting. I didn't see Joe HIggins name on the list and so voted Joan Burton as the best the list of possible contenders. Can I switch my vote to Joe pleeeeze? Sorry to be a nuisance |

I set the poll on an "enable vote cancellation" setting, but I'm not quite sure what that means - have you tried editing the post? |
