Greetings all - please feel free to post some photographs in the run up to Christmas of whatever you see about you, robins out in the cold, a few autumn leaves left on the trees, Christmas lights and Christmas trees or whatever you want.

I was in the North of England this weekend and the snow came early! Here are a few snaps:

I can't post a photo for two reasons.

1- My IXUS-75 is broke - the lens is stuck in the out position. I'm really pissed off coz that's my second camera in 3 years. Evil or Very Mad

2- It hasn't snowed here yet.

johnfás, I love the one of the cast iron bridge. That is a canal under ?

Assuming you've got it on your pc if you open a reply to this and press the icon that is a little screen with a floppy disk, it will allow you to browse and upload a photo from your computer. The address of the image will be shown to you in three formats - I always use the last one and put that in the [img][/img] tags.

There is a little set of instructions here

Thank you.
They were both taken on the same day not far from my house in West Dublin, about this time last year, I think.

I particularly like the middle one tonys. Great composition and framing. The blue mixed with the almost monochrome is stunning. You've a good eye.

I like this one too, did you use a darkened lens? It's very ethereal (if that's the right word)...

Really? It looks very wide-angle and well-focused. That's some photo for a mobile!

I like the silver birches one and the first lighthouse one a lot, auditor.

The last picture you put up is probably the best of that set, tonys, something a bit sinister about it. I'm a bit odd like that.
