Given the outpourings of grief and regret for Bertie Ahern oozing from the pages of the Sunday Independent, ought we to be worried about a comeback? Surely FF would implode if that happened? Cowen must already be raging about the Sindo - as well as all those other FF people whose wagons are hitched to his. Ahern has sort of escaped his full share of the balme for the economic situation but if he put himself back in the frame now that would change. Plus, on top of all the other nightmares they have, the Tribunal fire would be rekindled. Maybe on second thought it would be the perfect combination of factors to see Fianna Fail destroyed once and for all. Let's encourage them, shall we?
