Yes without flash. The exposure was about 1/1.5 seconds. The tube approaches fairly fast so you can get away with a fairly quick exposure and still get the effect. It is useful because for a longer exposure you would really need a tripod or the rest of the photo would be blurry from my own movement.

You've a very steady hand. Sometimes I leave the camera on the ground - it gets a nice angle as well as not coming under the influence of the sh-sh-sh-sh-shakes.

I got a closeup one of a caterpillar over the weekend I should put it up on the weeds thread.

Meanwhile, inside the cabin of EI657, the discovery of Ancient Rome continued unabated, apart from brief interslurptions.

Fooooour Euro. I bought 3 of them. 330ml cans at 4 quid each is 990 ml for 12 euro. Thats about 7.50 per pint.

Another one from the weekend - The Swiss Re Tower (otherwise known as 'The Gherkin') as seen through a section of the Tower of London.

Thats wild. Some poor town planner will be strung up for that though. They like to keep their views pristine.

Did you enjoy the Tower?
