I heard from a made up source of mine that the scientomologists did him in. You heard it here first people.

Wouldn't put it past those scientomology scumbags. I'm alert for news on channel R.

This is very sad news. Isaac Hayes was one of the great composers, arrangers and producers of the last 40 years. He tried to save Stax from the corporate vultures and it ended up costing him so much. Scientology really messed with his head. One of life's good guys. He will be missed. He got an Oscar for this and it should be played LOUD

From "Hot Buttered Soul". One of my cousins was conceived to this album.
A for Isaac, but the music will live on.

Poor Isaac Hayes, it's a pity he was sucked in by that Scientology nonsense but RIP all the same.

All this scientology talk reminds me of something I was watching the other night: a documenatry on Steve Ditko, co-creator of Spiderman. He was a commited Objectivist, and created a comic-book character called Mr. A to promote Objectivist principles.

What's an Objectivist, 905?

In Ireland the closest we get is Ian O'Doherty, who has referenced objectivism in his articles at least once. I love the idea of him being a cult memeber.
