PostSubject: Back To Nice - Enhanced Co-operation?   Fri Jun 13, 2008 7:42 pm

Lisbon appears to be dead, in spite of the inititial bluster of French and British politicians.

The legal position now is that we proceed under the terms of the Nice Treaty. I'm aware that will mean reduced numbers of Commissioners and "enhanced co-operation" - would anyone be able to explain the implications of going on with Nice, without Lisbon ?
