I am going to bed but hopefully tomorrow I can discuss this slug. He gives credence to the theories of David Iches because he is looking more like a lizard every time I see him. He is part of the biggest load of Horsescoure that is of late being totally rubbished. undaunted it is no longer global warming because we have had a record cold winter it is now climate change. They were screaming about the increased frequency of huricanes but last season we had hardly any. It is about deindustrialising the west plain and simple. He and his ilk have prevented nuclear plants being built here for 40 flucking years while the crunks that are shooting the monks and dining with Cockroach are building one in every village. Anyone that would believe a word out of this maggot deserves a lobotomy and vasectomy but not necessarily in that order. This whale uses as much energy in his home than the entire country of Mauritania. 30000 dollars a month. He is now cashing in. He and a lad with the name of Blood have set up a fund to trade in these carbon things that he mandated and it has raked in 5 billion Euros. Are the populations back there that doopy because you could not make this stuff up. Blood and Gore. What a partnership. They have got to be bursting their wholes laughing

Al Gore's 'Inconvenient Truth'? -- A $30,000 Utility Bill

Back home in Tennessee, safely ensconced in his suburban Nashville
home, Vice President Al Gore is no doubt basking in the Oscar awarded
to "An Inconvenient Truth," the documentary he inspired and in which he
starred. But a local free-market think tank is trying to make that very
home emblematic of what it deems Gore's environmental hypocrisy.

Armed with Gore's utility bills for the last two years, the Tennessee
Center for Policy Research charged Monday that the gas and electric
bills for the former vice president's 20-room home and pool house
devoured nearly 221,000 kilowatt-hours in 2006, more than 20 times the
national average
of 10,656 kilowatt-hours.

"If this were any other person with $30,000-a-year in utility
bills, I wouldn't care," says the Center's 27-year-old president, Drew
Johnson. "But he tells other people how to live and he's not following
his own rules."

********
That was February last year but I must try to find some reports on the internet as to whether the American Headquarters for the Promotion of Low-Carbon Living (Gore's house) has itself become a model for light carbon-footprinting since then as he was threatening to install some solar panels and buy dung-based electricity ..

The power of your prose makes me wish you were on the side of us tree-huggers youngdan.
Ever since I saw that guy on his home movie wandering through the airports talking about oil consumption I had my doubts...

It's easy to point out the hypocrisy of this particular messenger but we shouldn't ignore the message. I thought the Nobel prize was far from merited especially after hearing about the Chilean Sea Bass.

When I watch Bono on the box he can be hugely irritating, sometimes beyond irrational outpourings. That does not mean that poverty does not exist.

Perhaps we should have a "shoot the messenger" not the message thread. Mad

I will be back because I am a real tree hugger. I would agree with most of what a regular green party member believes. As said elsewhere I would have Ireland dotted with windmills and exporting energy. I would have Gore wedged into a fiat 126 or better still walking and I would give the prize to the girl who is down in the hole up in Tara. I hope the membership on this site rises for a few reasons but one of them would be because we have not only the optimist but others who believe that wind energy is the way to go. The scaremongers have hyjacked these people's concerns. They want a return to a fuedal system. They want to reduce world population to a small number. This sounds absurd but it is working. Numerous population groups like Italians and Russians are not reproducing at a rate even close to sustaining itself. I expect that when the welfare system is no longer able to function then you are going to see hunger and violence skyrocket. The fuedal system will be more visible as a tiny minority will escape this hardship and we will be struggling for scraps

Just when I was feeling better from venting against the 2nd most despicible rodent that comes to mind, mention is made of the most absurd excuse of a human that Ireland has produced since the lad that brought in the Normans. I speak of course of Little Prince High Heels. He should be put on a rack and stretched to the lenght he wishs he was. He got Treasury Secretary Snow fired when the picture of the 2 of them dressed up in the Mandingo suits hit the papers here. He is trying to pull off a scam that is nearly as phoney as the other slug. He is a perfect little communist. Even though he has got a billion he prefers that the little plebs of Ireland pay taxes. He domiciles in Holland. Anyway because these Africans are all riding one another and have Aids he has decided who needs to pay for them. ME. He wants the US taxpayer to pay 30 billion dollars to these jockeys. That is 500 dollars for my family unit. Would it not be cheaper to cut the flutes of them all and solve the problem once and for all. This topic came up on P.ie and a poster there did not think I was being reasonable and should I suppose fork out the 500 bucks and let them ride away to their hearts content. It was Colmog who I realised was Colm O Gorman. I suggested he pay my share. This is typical socialist rubbish on what is now being brought to a global level. The gameplan is to send everyone but the likes of Little Prince High Heels into poverty. The 30 billion of course goes to the likes of Merck and nobody cares about the jockeys. There is never any talk about Aids here and it seems to be very dificult to contract. It is my opinion that there are groups like the World Wild Life Fund who want all the Africans killed off. The biggest cause of death in Africa is Malaria. This disease was somewhat controled until the pesticide DDT was banned. Rhodesia was deliberatly destroyed and South Africa is well on the way. When Smith stepped dowm the winner was Bishop Bethulezi but the West came in and demanded another election and put in Mugabee. That reminds me, is that other Irish snail still alive that ran the show in Kantanga. When he croaks I might return to P.ie to celebrate because there will be pages saying what a great man he was.

It is time to reminisce on past debates. Some harken back to the Lincoln-Douglas debates to find intellect but I prefer more recent moments that will live forever. This is for the enjoyment of all https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98jVyJEsGnk

Pity to spoil the excellent soup for pinch of arsenic youngdan. An AIDs thread would be good but g'forefend that it unleash a lot of blanket negative sentiments about different groups of people. AIDS in Ireland was increasing exponentially before we ever saw a black face here apart from that nice Consultant who dealt with our gall stones. No one seems to notice or give an damn but the maths are troubling for future numbers.

I seem to recall that a couple of States in Africa have dealt with this really well. We may need to take a look at how they have done it.

My gripe is not really about Aids at all but the tax put on me to pay for treatment of it in Africa. Is this treatment not just a mixture of pills so it is just a transfer of the money to the pharmacuetical companies. This mirrors the carbon tax scam. I would be more willing to pay extra for petrol if the money was to be used for subsidising alternative energy sourses or insulating somelads house. Just yesterday the law approving spending 50 billion on Aids was passed. Leaving aside the fact that they don't have the money. If these people cared for the Africans they could supply fresh clean water and modern houses to every single African for 50 billion dollars. That is what is being done by small groups of decent people by bringing wells and such to poor people all over the world. As with decent Greens these people's efforts and ideals are hyjacked as others. As regards Aids itself it is no longer talked about much. It seems to be a dificult disease to catch. There is little sympathy for victims as it is seen as a disease tied to drug use. I really don't know anything about Aids but I know a scam at times.

Time for a new venting. A lot of things bother me but right at the top is the fact that POWs were left behind in Korea and Vietnam. Nixon reneiged on the deal to pay the Vietcong 6.3 billion in reparations. Let us look at what happened in the Senate in 1992. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBiti-ZbeO0
