Never been there mind and never want to go there!

Benidorm was attracting Irish visitors in the '60s BTW - it had a certain reputation back then too.

Wasn't there an 80s sit com set there? With two couples - Paul.... guy with curly blonde hair was one husband and one wife had dark curly hair. Can't remember for the life of me what it was called.

Always reminds me of Vera Duckworth.

But RIP obviously.

God rest his soul but Benidorm you can't beat it with a big stick for english breakfasts and beer. Rakes of photos here of it on this blog for anyone who has been there and fell in love with the skyline

There's also an ITV programme called Benidorm. Mr Zaragoza really was the mayor of the original package holiday destination, wasn't he? RIP Mr Zaragoza.
