I want to wish a happy birthday to Riadach. That thread on P.ie where we were embroiled about the gay agenda was great craic especially when the topic of fisting drew NDS into the discussion. He too should return no matter what name he uses

I believe his current incarnation is Myles Per Hour.

That thread was a good laugh alright. Milton Fine is also surely due a return to highlight the actions of the malevolent gay lobby.

He might be gone as mph now as there was a thread where me and 2 other posters referred to him as NDS, Analyser and Insider007. There was another great thread about I think the mayor of Belfast was pictured jumping over some guy. I pretended to think it was a picture of Larry Craig and Champa, who was very funny, and Insider joined the conversation. That thread had to be the best of all.

It is rare that you have a bit of craic like we used to.

O sorry that's the SDLP youth.

We did this with a Young Greens poster on p.ie there not so long ago - just pretended that people in the picture were people in the forum and it was a bit of fun. What was peculiar about that Young Greens one was they were holding a life-size statue or doll of a naked black man which was totally unexplained but by God did we get mileage out of it. Another funny thread was about the poor tool caught masturbating against a bike ... he was obviously unstabilised, poor man. That thread was full of puns.

It's great when a thread comes together spontaneously.

Even poor old Tommy Tiernan is getting it in the ear about whatever he did on the Late Late that offended the disabled, travellers and ethnic minorities. I happened to hear Liveline today where they played a clip of him saying yesterday that his job was to take nothing seriously.

I disagree - I think the job of the best comedians is to take things very seriously - and hold a mirror up to the world; a slightly distorted mirror, but a mirror nonetheless. Slapstick of the Pat Shortt variety drives me nuts. Those who have some reverence for their subjects are the ones best able to mock them. Give me Patrick Kielty or Billy Connolly any day over Tommy Tiernan for that reason.

Did you do anything nice for your birthday?

I had about 15 of my friends over the night before and we had pizza and birthday cake - yummy - then headed out into town. My actual birthday was quiet enough, my grandmother brought my brother and I out for lunch, which was nice. Then I walked up three rock mountain - which was lovely.

Was there enough pizza to go around (just checking up on EVM's calculations )

Well the calculations were based on 10 but 4 pizzas did 15 so it was roughly a good calculation . The cake was the highlight - double chocolate baked by the girlfriend - mmmmmmmm.

Also, zakalwe had a very important input into the accuracy and validity of the pizza calculation, and we should commend him for his efforts.
