Ryanair has launched another attack on Ireland's airport regulatory system during a conference in Dublin today.

Speaking at the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland event, deupty Ryanair CEO Michael Cawley claimed the system had failed both airlines and consumers and the regulator was "incompetent".

He said the regulator had allowed costs at Dublin Airport to rise by more than 200% while airlines are being forced to use "third-world facilities".

Overpriced and overspecified trophy buildings going up all over Dublin airport. Did they not notice the disaster that was Cork?

Anyone else notice the interesting curved elevated walkway that has a completely unneccessary upward slope designed into it in two directions? Great when your hauling a heavy bag. Razz
