I didn`t do my homework cactus so I won`t be staying. It seems like an interesting read though. I`m away for a shower and bed so I`ll say good night and good luck with the book club meeting. You`ve made a great effort. I might suggest cocktail sausages for the next one though.

That is a kind gift, Riadach. If we drink that, we won't know if we have read the book or not.

I think that I've only ever attended one book club meeting. But that was in college and I was young and impressionable. Now I've got my own imprint.

I enjoyed the book but funnily enough when I tried his other one I did not finish it. I will be drawing attention to the Norse settlement on Greenland. If my memory serves me right it lasted for 500 years. That is as long as since Columbus discovered the new world till now. The climate change did a number on what must have seemed a promising settlement. It is reported that the last message scrawled into a rock has finally been translated from old Norse. It says ' Where is Al Gore when we need him'
